New Story, from 15th century Spain

This is Whootie Owl's first-ever entirely true story. There have been legends before on Whootie Owl's web site such as King Arthur stories, but "The Village of Fuente Ovejuna" is based on a true event of peasant rebellion in 15th century Spain. After the inhabitants of Fuente Ovejuna were driven to open revolt and then compelled to tell who was responsible, each one said: "The village of Fuente Ovejuna did it."
